The purpose of this website is pretty self-explanatory. This site exists to explain a complex world in a way a 5-year-old might understand.

Obviously, you’re not five, so we’re not going to actively insult your intelligence, but the answers will be pretty basic. If you want to take a deeper dive, there will be links provided, but we’ll try to keep our answers from putting you to sleep.

On occasion, we’ll go a little deeper in our answers if the topic warrants it.

Here’s what you can expect: Our goal is to post one explanation per day, give or take a post or day here and there depending on time constraints. We’ll generally be explaining things that are trending on social media or in the news. We’ll also have some posts about other interesting topics that may not be trending and we’ll try to answer any questions you have.
